to social media, which shows the Bond star alongside British actor Mark Strong (Green Lantern, Kick-Ass, Sherlock Holmes). Does this mean Strong is in Bond 24?
Possibly, but it should be noted that Strong is close friends with Craig going back to their days of the UK television series Our Friends in the North. Craig is even the godfather of Strong's eldest son so perhaps it was just a case of buddies hanging out.

However, Strong has repeatedly made his hopes of playing a Bond villain known in interviews over the last few years.
“The Bond villain would be the absolute pinnacle,” Strong told The Big Issue earlier this month. “They are almost as important as Bond himself because your hero is only as good as your villain so you have to have a good one for the hero to be truly heroic. I’m not ruling it out. We’ll just wait and see…”
Our calls to Strong's reps at CAA had not been returned by time of publish.
As Bond fan site MI6 points out, Strong had previously been under consideration for the villain role of Silva in Skyfall. Strong also did a very Bond villain-esque turn in a Jaguar commercial (seen below) opposite Marvel baddies Sir Ben Kingsley and Tom Hiddleston. Strong has a pair of espionage flicks coming up: Kingsman: The Secret Service and Grimsby.
